Portland Rose Festival Named In The Top 10 U.S. & Canada Festivals With The Portland Rose Festival scheduled to open with the celebration events starting May 20th and running until June 17th, 2012, it was of course wonderful to hear that it was named by Travelocity as one of the top 10 spring fairs across the U.S. and Canada! It's no wonder, between races, rides, the Grand Floral Parade, Fleet week, fireworks and much more, all set along the Willamette River at Tom McCall Waterfront park, there really is something for everyone! You know summer's not to far away when the Portland Rose Festival City Fair starts. Located at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, you'll enjoy some fun and scary rides...no, you won't ever catch me on the "Vertigo"! I don't need to go on a ride for that! Here you can stroll the park, listen to music, enjoy some special entertainment as well as carnival games and tasty food.They're predicting some fairly good weather for Saturday and Sunday..but this is Portland....nothing stops in the rain!
