The Town of Mount Pleasant is considering an initiative that would entice builders to build and market "Work Force House". I serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission and we have given our blessing to be considered by Town Council. Workforce Housing is affordable to low and moderate income families (those earning up to 120% of the Charleston-North Charleston MSA median family income, as defined in the schedule published annually by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development).
