The Boise real estate market is doing better then most of the country. Sure houses have been sitting on the market longer than used to but we haven't had a dramatic price drop. Still we have deals here if you qualify for a mortgage. Here is a secret 90% of the people still qualify. It's only the ones with real credit issues that can't qualify. Another weekend and two open houses. This means that any other business I have must be squished into the mornings or evenings. I have yet to sell a home at an open house but I do them for a few reasons:
I might get lucky and find the buyers for the home..... Rain is really good since we live in an arid climate. What is even better is that I am not running an open house in the rain today!!! Today is National History Day and my son, Joshua, is completing. Therefore, I took the day off. This afternoon I will probably try to call some clients. They might even be home because it is raining. I like showing houses in the rain. You can see if they leak.

I have a wonderful condo that I am opening up today!!!! Only problem is that there are 2 similar units (that each have 2 bathrooms for sale also). This is the approach I've taken. boise: Neel house finally closed

It happened. At least we signed. The house that was supposed to close on January 30 finally closed today. My seller disappeared the second I got the time from title. I found her 20 minutes before closing. When we got there she told me she forgot to pick up her husband. It is supposed to fund tomorrow. This has been very aggravating and we have 9 addendum's on the contract due to the delay in funding. Sometimes one wishes for a day job. So that is at least one sold on the Boise real estate market.

Today I will be calling clients and loan officers trying to take advantage that many of my clients have the day off. I also might help my youngest son get ready for National History Day. Lets see my lady from Somalia might not be ready to buy a home but I am going to learn about the home ownership program for section 8 tomorrow. I am going to talk to the the section 8 homeowner specialist tomorrow and find out information about the program.

I just read a post about real estate hours. Overall, I am an energetic person from 8 AM to about 7 PM. After that I am sort of foggy. I hate writing contracts or handling negotiations is much better if I handle the work in the morning. Of course being a good Boise real estate agent I write contracts and negotiate when I'm tired. I will not negotiate with a bank if I am not feeling sharp. I am razer sharp usually, I am a scientist and can analyze large amounts of data quickly and accurately. I want to give … (6 comments)

I got home yesterday from the Democratic Caucus (or should I say Obama rally). I have lived her for 17 years and this is the only time that caucus seemed crowded. It was so crowded 1000's of us were turned away. I was surprised that Obama took 85% of the room. It was very impressive. We almost didn't get in because the fire marshal closed the door. I guess they should have picked Bronco Stadium.... We stayed because my oldest son is politically active and wanted to stand for election for the State Democratic Convention. Ever since I started blogging more people seem to be coming to my website !!!!!!!!! Yesterday it was 15 and I didn't post on Craigslist!!!!!!! I even had an listing expire and more people came. For a slow market I seem to be busy all of a sudden. I showed house 3 days in the last 4..... I showed my tenant houses and townhouses. He is the best tenant I ever had. I offered him the house he lived in. When I called him he told me he thought he wanted to buy that one. Maybe it will work..... He is talking to the loan officer. It is Saturday and the Boise real estate market is a little slow but I have some active buyers. Today at 10 AM I am showing houses to a new buyer from house values. This will be the second time I actually took a buyer out from them in 8 months. Maybe 8 months is the charm. I seem to be getting more interest from my drip campaign. Thinking of relocating? Boise is a great to live. We are the capital city of Idaho and have many attractions of a big city but still has a small town atmosphere. People of all ages can find a high quality of life. The cost of living is reasonable and we have a low unemployment rate.
