hot springs: Today I am going to the mountains to see the sun and eat a hamburger.

Sometimes in the winter we get a tempaure inversion. What that basically means is that it gets foggy and hazy and after a while you don't see the sun. You here tell from others that it is 10 degrees warmer and absoultly spetacular. I know its true because I sometimes go visit the sun. So unless I am needed in today (I wake up with nothing on the agenda) I am going to Idaho City. While there I will go to Calamity Jane's (a nice old fashioned western cafe). hot springs: Bogus Basin open for skiing this Friday!!!!!

Here in Boise, Idaho we are very civilized! We had several really wet and dreary days.... But in out mountains we have SNOW!!!! Bogus Basin is a ski resort just 16 miles from Boise. I don't ski but most of my friends do. Bogus Basin is so named because they thought they found the mother load but it was fools gold. We also have Brundage mountain in McCall and Sun Valley resort in Ketchum. If you like winter sports Boise is the place for you! Our beautiful mountains become a winter wonderland... This is a beautiful ride where the river goes into the lava beds and out via 1000's of both cold water and hot water springs. The weather was very windy but crisp and clear. Our first stop was the Miracle Hot Springs in Buhl Idaho. We had a nice relaxing soak in the pools. After about an hour we were getting over heated so we went to see there … (2 comments)
