idaho city: Happy mid-January! Spring is slowly coming!

Well here we are at the ides of January! The city is experiancing an inversion. School has restarted. Only a couple of months before spring! Now is a great time for winter pleasures in the mountains. For me that meant a trip to the Idaho City Hot Springs. For just $16 each we saw the sun and the beautiful blue sky while we soaked in a natural hot springs about 45 minutes from out home. www.thespringsid.com/I
Now is a good time to get your home in order. Inside jobs are good. We are cleaning our basement.

Sometimes in the winter we get a tempaure inversion. What that basically means is that it gets foggy and hazy and after a while you don't see the sun. You here tell from others that it is 10 degrees warmer and absoultly spetacular. I know its true because I sometimes go visit the sun. So unless I am needed in today (I wake up with nothing on the agenda) I am going to Idaho City. While there I will go to Calamity Jane's (a nice old fashioned western cafe). I might drive around a development or two just (0 comments)
This pleasent man called me a few days ago just before a movie started. I took his information down and called him the next day. He called me on a listing in a nearby town that I have. Then he seemed interested in the mountains. He was sort of looking for his daughter and himself. Seemed sort of (4 comments)

Today I took a day off to take my friend and her guest (first time in Idaho) to the mountains. I drive sedans. Nothing fancy like a four wheel drive but I figured I would be careful. I took the precaution of making sure my hubby knew my route. I was thinking of going on some back roads if they were OK. We loaded the people up and the young dog into my rear real drive Lincoln Town car and went to beautiful Idaho City. Just one hour from downtown Boise. The drive up was beautiful.
