scientist: How to think about the coronavirus?

I am known to be a smart lady. A scientist in fact. About a week ago my broker asked me what I thought of the new virus. I hemmed and hawed and basically felt we did not have the facts. I felt that the virus probably did not have the cases rate reported because I believed that the actual cases were underreported. I thought that at the time there could easily be 200,000 cases. Then in the next breath I muttered that the deaths might be being underreported because it only counted as a death from the virus if it was … (13 comments)

One thing I like about the work of a real estate agent is that every day is different. No 2 days are the same..... Yet sometimes I feel as if I am on a treadmill... Slowly winding my way this thing we call life.... I only rarely make things happen or create big changes..... I wake up and drink my coffee... I check the web... I might blog... Read the paper.. Wow it is hard to believe that I have been married 27 years and am now the mother of 3 grown children and solidly middle aged. Who knew what the adventure would entail when a first year chemistry and first year math graduate student promised to spend rest of their lives together. Our parents proberly were thinking we were way to young....(I was 22)... We started having the kids in grad school. He has a PH.D I have an MA. Our adventures took us to Post doc in Mons, Belgium with 2 babies.... England for sabbatical with 3 kids.... I think … (6 comments)
