alarm: Carbon Monoxide Alarm Requirement

Beginning January 1, 2013, all existing residences to include condo's and apartments, will be required to have carbon monoxide alarm's installed. This requirement also extends to college dorm's and hotel/motel room's. For real estate transactions involving single family residences, the seller will be responsible for making sure an alarm is installed.
