The Pinehurst and Southern Pines Area of North Carolina is filled with Christmas spirit and lots of Christmas events. The Pinehurst Hotel hosted the Festival of Trees this year with over 100 trees decorated and donated by local businesses to benefit The Sandhills Children's Center. Animal Advocates of Moore County hosted a free "Black and White" Affair to introduce to the public cats and dogs that need adopting. The Pinehurst Garden Club Members were armed with shovels, knee protectors, gardening gloves and hole diggers as they converged at the Pinehurst Village to do their biannual plantings. Will home staging work? I just recently received a full price offer on my second property that was staged by a home staging professional. The biggest thing in the staging was the removal of some wallpaper, and the positiong of carpets to cover the floors on the lower level that was completely tiled. I beleive minor home staging aimed at a homes wekest areas ofen will pay of several times what the stging improvements cost.

A recent thing happen this week that I thought I'd pass along to other realtors. I had a home on the market for three month that was getting showings mostly through my open houses. At the end of three month the listing expired and I relisted the home. In our area an expired listing is now put in the MLS as a new home (0 days on the market).
