It’s that time of year again in the Phoenix area, where the out of state visitors migrate to the Valley of the Sun. Weather wise from mid September to mid May (sometimes later), you are hard pressed to find a better place to be. Why do people come to the Phoenix metro besides the great weather? The beautiful mountains, the breath taking sunsets, over 260 golf courses, the luxurious resorts, over 10,000 restaurants and an abundance of activities: arts and crafts festivals, the Phoenix Open (most attended golf event in the world), sports (Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns…when … (0 comments)

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW????? When you become a real estate agent, you have to have a thick skin because you suddenly become labeled a liar. Why is it that most professions where there is a commission attached are thought of as sleazy liars? Why aren’t servers in restaurants questioned about their ethics? They get tips don’t they? Oh wait, we do hesitate to send food back on second thought…

And while in a crazy, sick sort of way it may look like art work or something you would find the Karchner Caverns, it’s termite tubes. EEEWWWW.
Unless you are a termite inspector, these things have to give you the creeps. I know they give me the creeps and so many thousands of homeowners who will walk away from a home because of them.

arizona: Banks in Arizona shift to short sales

Candice and I attended this event last week, the Crystal Ball Conference, about the 2012 projections for real estate in Arizona. It was quite interesting to hear that foreclosures are on a rapid decline in Arizona, there is no "shadow" inventory and the banks are finally realizing they can make more money and get a property off their books quicker by completing a short sale versus letting the property become a foreclosure. In the past I don't think the banks were looking at the big picture. Instead the short sale groups and foreclosure groups were only looking at their own Profit and Loss … (0 comments)
