In Honor of Jimmy CarterI was saddened to hear that Jimmy Carter was going into hospice. Whether you agree with his politics or approved of his job as President of the United State, I think most people agree that Jimmy Carter is a good person. His work with Habitat for Humanity has always been an inspiration to me. When I was a high school kid in New Jersey, my church group spent a weekend volunteering in Trenton. fair housing: Could you do me a favor if you're able?

I've been preparing to teach a Fair Housing class and talking to fellow agents and many seem surprised that most of the Fair Housing complaints each year come from the same group. In fact, according to the National Fair Housing Alliance, 58.9% of the complaints alleging discrimination in 2019 were on the basis of disability. So here's the favor I'm asking of you: Could you spend a few extra minutes when entering a listing into your MLS and be sure to list all of the accessibility features that apply to your listing? Calling All Creative Kids! Do you know a young artist looking for a something to get the creative juices flowing? How about a poster contest? The Maryland Association of REALTORS is looking for kids in Kindergarten through 8th Grade to submit their creative poster ideas for the this year's theme:
"I ♥ FAIR HOUSING"
