On July 1, 2016, HAR, The Houston Association of Realtors, will be forced to start charging more money for what has been offered for free to its members.
Since 1997, all tools developed by HAR have been incorporated into a single MLS package without raising MLS fees.
Agent Dues/Fee changes since 1997
HAR (-5%)
TAR +74%
NAR +142%
What needs to be understood by the members of HAR, is the fact the NAR policies changed and HAR was forced to offer a basic package to members that did not want to pay items they did not want or use. HAR did not do this willingly and should not … (0 comments)

I have a few HARD questions to ask NAR

These are my thoughts and in no way represent the thoughts of the Houston Association of Realtors

1. Why are we still funding RPR with less than 11% of the membership using it after 3 years?
2. Why are we spending millions on the credit union when less than 3% of NAR members have EVER used it?
