This is an update to a previous post I wrote about the upcoming road enhancements for a roundabout at Ashton Road and Honore Avenue. Construction has finally commenced on the much anticipated Roundabout at Ashton Road and Honore Avenue which should alleviate congestion at what is now a 4-way stop intersection. This is something that needed to be done due to the continued real estate growth the county is experiencing. My family, along with others from ASHTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, SARASOTA MIDDLE and NEW GATE will undoubtedly experience delays in walking and driving our children to school. However, once completed, this roundabout should allow for a more fluid driving experience … (2 comments)
