Running out of ideas on how to continue to prospect? Here is a relatively inexpensive way to stay in front of prospects.....Prior to closing on a buyer, take a photo of their new house. Have 50 small postcards made from your IT department or try www.gotprint.com. On the front of the postcard you will have a photo fo their new house and at the top type "We Just Moved!" On the back, type your buyers name and their new address. Under that, type "And I helped!" Then put all of your contact information. Give this to your buyers at closing as … (6 comments)

Even with the economy as bad as it is, most of us are not getting back to the basics. One way to try to stimulate more referrals is to call your sphere of influence. Don't know what to say when you call? How about talking about the new $7500 tax credit that has become available for first time homebuyers? Many buyers do not even know that this exists! I met with one buyer just today, whom I have been sending listings to since the summer. I mentioned the tax credit and he wasn't aware of it. And he is an attorney! … (3 comments)
