listing agents: WHEN AGENTS DON'T RESPOND - 05/22/12 05:42 PM
WHEN AGENTS DON'T RESPOND

It can be excruciating frustrating when that happens. Recently, I have a buyer who wanted to purchase a property that they were interested in. I called the agent and left a voicemail to have her called back in order to set up an appointment time to show the property to my client. She never responded. I proceeded to text her. Still no response. I called her office and no one is there to answer the phone and it went to a voicemail. I called her again and still no response. My client and I were getting annoyed at … (5 comments)

Do you treat other AGENTS like your CLIENTS?? If NOT, you should Re-THINK..
Have you experienced where some listing agents are rude when you call on their listings? Are they rushed and kind of brush you off? It is as though it's a burden for them to even talk with you. I believe that whether or not an agent has 100's of listings it is best to respect one another.

listing agents: AGENT DOES NOT ANSWER CALLS ONLY EMAIL - 02/01/10 05:43 PM
Agent does not answer calls only email.
Is this how you operate your real estate business? Is it getting you anywhere? As I was searching for properties to send to my clients, I stumbled upon a listing which had the verbage shown above. It states that the agent will not respond by phone but only communicate via email. I know technology is great and that we cannot live like dinosaurs but not answering any phone calls is rather ludicrous. I called the phone number anyways and got a voicemail which states that to leave a message as it is an answering … (112 comments)

Listing Agent will NOT represent buyers. Absolutely NOT!!
The comment shown above was what I came upon as I was searching for properties for a client. It is explicitly stated in the description as well as the remarks section where agents can see. It is the first time I've seen this comment on a listing. The L/A will not present any buyers that come in for that particular listing. They must have their own agent write up the offer. If the buyers do not have one, they should locate an agent to help them in the transaction.
I was scratching my … (10 comments)

listing agents: Sellers, FIRE your Listing AgentS if they are not performing! - 12/27/09 05:57 PM
In my last blog, I wrote about a L/A who did a poor job. He was hired to do a job for his client, the sellers, and completely underperformed. Sellers, here is a piece of advice for your sake. If your L/A is not performing; if he is not returning your phone calls; if he is not updating you on the status of your listing; if he is not advertising to move your listing. I have good news for you. You DO have OPTIONS. There is one option that I would highly recommend. FIRE them! Just say it like Donald Trump … (8 comments)
