The Virginia Gold Cup is a grand Spring Tradition that attracts over 50,000 spectators. In fact, this race is known for being one of the largest sporting events in the greater Washington DC Metro Area.

I received word that The Marque at Heritage Hunt Farmer's Market will be opening on May 2, 2013, from 2-6 pm and be in progress every Thursday throughout the summer and early Fall. This particular Farmer's Market is right outside the gate of Heritage Hunt in Gainesville, Virginia. There is no doubt that in Northern Virginia we have been and are anxiously waiting for Spring to arrive. In fact, today the temperature was in the low 60s. Additionally, the sun was shining.

The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra is presenting, The Gospel Truth with Bobby Floyd, Jazz Pianist and Organist at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas Virginia.
