haymarket mls: I Am Breathing A Sigh Of Relief That I Have A Forgiving Client - 09/15/13 05:20 AM
I am thinking this post is probably good for Realtor's or anyone else who takes a moment to read.
My old smart phone died last week after nearly 4 years of great service. In a way it was tough parting with the old phone, but I managed to get through it. (smile) I ordered a new phone and right after it was delivered, I quickly set it up. Running short of time, I failed to test and re-test each app. You guessed it - that included the ALWAYS dependable Home Search App I use for Northern Virginia.
Later, in the morning and … (3 comments)

haymarket mls: Minimize Your Risk When Upgrading Your Home - 09/06/13 02:01 AM
Whether it is new windows, a garage door or perhaps adding on a room or two, it is always a good thing when upgrading your house, to have an understanding of what you should be able to expect from your contractor. For example: What kinds of things should you ask the contractor about, or perhaps even have in writing?
Here are some suggestions:
1) Ask your contractor, "Are you licensed? Follow up this question by going to your state governmental site and verify what you have been told. In Virginia you can verify a license by going to the: Department of … (5 comments)

haymarket mls: Important Update to Route 29 and Linton Hall Road Construction - 08/23/13 07:48 AM
I've been endeavoring to keep the Gainesville/Haymarket areas up to date with the progress of work on Route 29 to Linton Hall Road. This is just a reminder that this weekend from 9 pm on Friday August 23rd through Noon on Sunday the 25th, you may want to avoid using Route 29 South or Northbound because of up to an hour of possible delay. Traffic is being changed over a new bridge so that drivers will no longer have to drive over the Railroad Track. This is a huge correction to a safety issue that all of us who live in … (3 comments)

I post once a month on the subject of Diet and Exercise. This is mainly because of the fact that for years I struggled with weighing too much! I attribute this to proper eating and exercise and a whole lot of discipline.
Are you needing some motivation when it comes to exercise? Judy Eggebeen recently posted: Sticking with your Exercise Routine: What Motivates You?
