I had an interesting experience yesterday. I was scheduled for a visit to my Ophthalmologist and because of a particular problem that I have with one eye, she decided to do some rather extensive testing. It wasn't painful, but somewhat uncomfortable.I have always appreciated the Receptionist in this office, especially for her sense of humor. Added to that she possesses what I would call, true spontaneity. Yes it did Snow in October yesterday, October 29, 2011. In certain parts of Northern Virginia we had snow (Sugar Flakes) throughout the day but for the most part, it didn't stick. On the other hand, one of my Team Members lives out some 35 miles from me and they have 10 inches of the white stuff on the ground. They were without power throughout the day on Saturday, however, power has now been restored.Winter in October? Snow in October? In Northern Virginia? As my grandmother use to say - U-Betcha.....

My wife and I just returned from a quick trip to Tennessee to see our lovely and very new (2 weeks old) granddaughter. Her Name - Gracie Marie and of course we think she is beautiful! Tonight's post is simply to say we are proud and also very grateful for such a beautiful gift.If you've been reading my posts over the past few years, you now realize we have 1 grandson, 2 granddaughters and 1 more on the way, with her arrival scheduled for February.

This last week has truly been interesting when it comes to scheduling Home Tours. I've had two clients, each send me six listings of homes they would like to tour. The showings would be in both cases, within 2 to 3 days of requesting their tour. In reference to both tours in the setting up process - 4 had gone under contract with only 2 each still available to see.
