HUD(FHA) has just announced that starting Jan 1st, 2013, the new max loan amount will be $272,550. This increase will be for the Houston Texas area. And include the counties of: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto, & Waller counties. The current Max FHA loan amount is $271,050. Sure this is not much of an increase. But every dollar helps. … (0 comments)
