It seem every day I am reading where the prices of listings are increasing.  Here is a post by GLOZAL concerning 8 Metro areas showing an increase within the last one or two months.  I am glad to hear the good news; it's nice to have something positive, to send to customers and prospects, which would help them realize this is a good time for home buyers.

Good new for Floridians, the housing market is picking up.  Below is a link to an article posted by GLOZAL which is stating the increase in median list price of homes continues to raise, and Realtor.com data shows Florida leading the way.  Homes in Ft. Myers/Cape Coral have a median price of $229,900, a 15.59% increase; Miami is the leader with a 26.19% year over year increase and median prices at $265,000.   All in all good news for a change.

I found this information, posted by Glozal Social Media, very interesting.  It states that a regulator sued 17 large banks and financial institutions on Friday over losses on about $200 billion of subprime bonds, which may hamper a broader government settlement of the mortgage mess left over from the housing crisis.  Click on this link and read the article; the only comment I can make is what Laurel & Hardy use to say "This is another fine mess you have gotten us into".
