Good Morning…Here is today’s  report from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys are talking about BOA getting a back door bail out from the Feds.  It seems BOA is being sued by AIG for toxic mortgage backed securities BOA acquired from Country Wide and Merrill Lynch.  When BOA wanted to back out of the acquisition the Feds force the deal and promised BOA that they would purchase half the bad debt through a Fannie purchase; creating a back door bail out.

Good Morning…Here is today’s  report from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys are talking about Bank of America once again.  It seems BOA is trying to work out a deal with state and federal officials to receive Legal Forgiveness for past and future Illegal Foreclosures and Loan Modifications.  In order for Modifications to work standardized rules must be enforced for everyone; BOA doesn't seem to understand this.

Today's report is not your usual routine.  This is a video from Dustin Hughes, a young mortgage advisor who recently found he has brain cancer.  The boys are showing his personal video which is heart wenching and inspiring at the same time.  After watching this I sat back in my chair and reflected on how I would handle the same situation; I don't know if I could be this strong.

Good Morning…Here is today’s  report from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today's conversations center around the Budget talks conception of not raising taxes by taking away Mortgage Interest deductions; even though this will take $200 billion out of our pockets to fund the governments inability to balance their budget, it will hurt the housing market drastically.  This, along with increased closing fees and upcoming conforming loan limits will do nothing to get us back on track.

Good Morning…Here is today’s report from the Think Big Work Small Guys. Today the boys have a discussion about Online mortgage quotes flying under the radar of oversight panels.  One example is MortgageMatch.com who was quoting rates and pre-qualifying customers.  Mortgage Match is not a mortgage company and is not being held to the same standards of the Good Faith Estimate with Pencil requirements which are binding.  They did have a relationship with Cornerstone Mortgage but no longer do, so they are looking for another affiliation; until then Mortgage Match.com has taken down their Estimator.  The problem is they are not the only online estimators.

Today the Think Big Work Small guys discuss a statement from Sandy Braunstein to the Feds concerning compensation and bonuses to loan officers.  The statement is ambiguous and open to interpretation.  A bill being put forth my congressman Gary Miller could help with competition in loan prices and help stabilize the housing market.  Both the statement by Sandy Braunstein and this proposed bill could neutralize the destructiveness of the Frank - Dodd Bill.
