When will homeowners and Realtors realize that staging = sales? Last weeks staging project in just outside of Boston, MA was a smashing success with two full price offers at the first open house. The asking price for this dated townhouse was initially set at $299,000. The improvements needed to get the property up to par cost the homeowner just under $4,000. The improvements included painting decks and some interior walls, upgrading kitchen floor, bringing in updated furnishings, art, accessories and soft goods, and professionally cleaning carpets.
