va home loans: Military Pay Raise 2015 - 12/23/14 04:24 AM
Good news for military members. As a former military spouse I know every little bit of money helps. 
According to Military.com, "The National Defense Authorization Act of 2015 includes a 1 percent across-the-board base pay raise for 2015. This means an additional $15 to $197 per month depending on rank and length of service. In addition, new rates have been set for BAH and COLA."

Military families have been punched in the face by our House of Representatives.  The House has passed a bill to be sent to the Senate that would approve a 5% reduction in BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing).  
According to a recent Pew Research Report, serving in the military was “practically a requirement for serving in Congress.” As recently as the early post-Vietnam era of the late 1970s, a combined 77-percent of the members in the House and Senate had prior military service. If you are a veteran, active duty, or a reservist prospective home buyer.  Listen up Dept of Veteran Affairs has announced new changes.   According to update 26-11-12  the change will affect the funding fee.
