The City of Helena Fire Department was hard at work last week in a training session at the entrance to Riverwoods subdivision. It was a very interesting and inspiring site to see the fireman being raised high into the air with the crane type lift on the firetruck. One of the fireman said that they were training on a piece of equipment with the Alabama Fire College. The Helena Fire Department has grown considerably since its beginning in 1960.
