As a resident of Delta County, CO you have already received your property tax bill for your 2017 taxes. Remember in Delta County you pay your property taxes in arrears. What that means is that you pay your 2017 property taxes in 2018.
In Colorado there is a two year reassessment cycle. Most properties have already been assessed and according to the tax assessor most property values shouldn't go up over the course of 2018. If your valuation does change, the assessor will notify you by May 1st of this year.

Stone Mountain Village is one of Delta, Colorado's newer neighborhoods. It was wonderful Grand Mesa views and it's own park. There are three and four bedroom floor plans. This neighborhood is in north Delta, and it's convenient to just about everything in Delta. That's because Delta is a small town with less than 8,000 people.
The number of active listings on the market is very low throughout Delta. The Stone Mountain Village neighborhood also has low inventory. For the last two years this neighborhood has had a good sales history. Prices have gone up and homes are selling fairly quickly.

Real estate activity has been slow in the Pioneer Place neighborhood. I believe that is mainly due to the lack of homes that have been on the market. This is a great neighborhood near the high school and not too far away from the hospital.

Like most markets across the country, we are experiencing low inventory. As of the writing of this post there are 255 active residential listings in the county. You can break it down like this:
The Surface Creek Area (includes Cedaredge, Austin, Eckert, Cory and the surrounding rural area)...there are 79 listings. Delta and the surrounding rural area...there are 83 active listings. The North Fork Area which includes the towns of Hotchkiss, Paonia, Crawford and the outlying rural area has 93 active listings. The cold weather set in on Thursday and stayed with us until late on Saturday. But that didn't mean it wasn't time for some fun and exercise in all that snow.
I think it was about 16 degrees at the dog park at Confluence Park in Delta. I was amazed how much snow Delta received from the last storm. Delta usually doesn't get much moisture. About six inches of snow fell there.
