2014 July 4th Fireworks Show...Things to do in Montrose, CO. All the local have their favorite spots to set up for the show. If you are visiting Montrose or anywhere nearby, you will want to take in this wonderful fireworks display to celebrate the 4th of July. For a smaller town, Montrose really knows how to put on a show. The local Rotary Club is hosting this year's event. The best places to view the fireworks are from from Sunset Mesa, Baldridge park, Cerise park and McNeil Park. The show starts after the sun goes down. Here's what you should bring. Montrose Colorado Fireworks July 6th, 2013 The Show Will Go On. In spite of the hot, dry weather, the Montrose Fireworks Show is still going to happen. Unless the weather takes a turn for the worse and there are high winds, the show will go on. The show is set for Saturday, July 6th, 2013. The Montrose Chamber of Commerce confirmed this information. The rockets will get shot off at the usual spot on the hogback. Bring your lawns chairs and get set for a great show. There is a countywide fire ban in effect. Delta Colorado is Still Planning to Have a Fireworks Show. Even though the 2013 summer season is turning out to be very hot and dry...the show will go on. YIPPEE!!! Our local display is wonderful and it brings out the kid in me. Delta is still planning on having it's annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display. The Delta Chamber of Commerce is getting a lot of calls about this subject. I confirmed this information with the chamber myself. The show will go on.
