Get Lost at Ridgway CO State Park...Mountain Views and So Much More. Ridgway State Park sits at the base of the San Juan Mountains and this means the park has some of the most fantastic scenery around.
Ridgway Reservoir alone covers over 1,000 acres. The park stretches for about five miles into the Uncompahgre River Valley. The reservoir was designed to catch spring water and runoff snow melt from the mountains as part of the Colorado River Storage Project.
