Well, we haven't really gone fishing, but we are celebrating our wedding anniversary and enjoying the holiday. It has been a very busy month and we hope to get caught up on the yard work we both enjoy. Plus, we have a sweet traveling guest, Sharon Lee, here with us this week. She even brought us a freshly picked bouquet from Hood River Lavender Farms for our anniversary. Isn't it gorgeous?

Our white Golden Retriever, McKinley, doesn't understand the loud sizzles and booms of the Fourth of July holiday. Therefore, we do our best to minimize and mask the noise. And, we let him on the bed for cuddles, in the event he needs comfort.
