This past weekend, we took buyers on a tour of homes in Hockinson. It's always a pleasure to visit the area - and we appreciate all of the various styles of custom homes too. You won't find many cookie-cutter neighborhoods in this community.

The biggest reason we hear now is "Room for grandkids to come and visit!" That 1800 SqFt single-level works fine for just the two of them, but add overnight visitors, and there is too much chaos and lack of privacy - especially with kids.

Remember the Baby Boomer "downsizing" trend? Well, recently we've noticed a bit of a reversal. Those same buyers are coming back and now want more space! So what happened? The biggest reason they give is "Room for grand kids to come and visit!" That 1800 SqFt single-level works fine for just the two of them, but add overnight visitors, and there is too much chaos and lack of privacy - especially with kids. So they need more space where friends and family can come and stay, which means an extra bedroom or two, and at least another full bath.

We are experiencing an influx of new buyers from outside of the area - mostly for the relatively affordable prices, but also for the quality of life. Buyers are looking for areas where they can live in the country, but still be close to city amenities like shopping, services, and good schools, Clark County has all of these features. Super Bowl Sunday - Our Family's Pick
Today is February 7, 2016 and Super Bowl 50. We'll be watching the big game at our multi-generational estate with my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and other visiting family members and friends. My brother-in-law spent many years in Fort Collins and is a true fan of the Denver Broncos. He also has the largest television set, one the newer curved screen styles, so we'll be enjoying the festivities on their level of the main home this afternoon.

A wonderful family is relocating from the Bay area to Camas. They found me online via my videos and contacted me through Active Rain.
