Surviving a Kitchen Remodel 
Life is busy at our Multi-Gen house with the kitchen remodel in full swing. Right now, it's chaos central. Naturally, the biggest headache is trying to cook and clean up. A Weber grill with a side burner is getting a lot of use and a utility sink in the garage works well for washing pots, pans, and dishes.  
My sis and her husband, who live on another level of our home, offered to let us use their kitchen, but honestly, carrying things up and down the stairs would just add to the workload. Plus, it would be pretty crowded with all of us cooking different … (24 comments)

Pinteresting is Interesting - To A Point! 
Have you ever heard of a Pinterest headache?  Me neither, but I (Debb)  may have one. Weeks of looking at kitchens, for remodeling inspiration, has given me a brain filled with images of cabinets, counter-tops, and colors - not to mention appliances and back-splashes. 
Bernie and I have made quite a bit of progress. We've agreed upon the appliances, the cabinets, the colors, and the counter-tops. It's exciting, but we're not looking forward to the process of tearing out, and putting new things back in place. We know to expect delays. Heck, we're already waiting on the bids.
