The song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," is a favorite at our house. After all, we both grew up in areas where snow in the winter is a frequent visitor. Fond memories of building snowmen, sledding, skiing, and skating often come to mind this time of year. Snow on the ground at Christmas is the magical ingredient for us.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas in Clark County, Washington, it looks like we have a snowball's chance in hell of that happening this year. And while you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, according to the forecasting folks, you do need at least an inch of snow on the ground for a White Christmas.
