Fayetteville is on the National Register of Historic Places qualifying with the number of documented historic buildings that still exist. To say that Fayetteville is quaint does not even scratch the surface of its appeal. It is a lot like stepping back into time. Life is slower, people seem friendlier, and community is important.

Joe's Place is a successful working restaurant with loads of character and opportunity and it is a cornerstone business in two historic buildings on the Courthouse Square. Joe's has continuously provided great food, specials, local entertainment, and great cocktails since 2006. It is regular for locals in Fayette County and surrounding counties year-round, and during the bi-annual antique fairs held in Round Top dealers and shoppers alike choose to eat at Joe's. There is plenty of parking on Live Oak.

Wanted to share a picture that anyone with livestock will appreciate! A field full of beautiful round bales in Fayette County Texas. Now that the haying has been done there are fields and fields of them. They look like pure gold to me. My APHA broodmares get round bales to supplement their grazing all winter long on my mare pasture here.
