Leaving Denver this week, our sweet friend, Will Hamm insisted upon taking me to the airport and I was so grateful for him taking me - he knows all of the 'alternate' routes to take during rush hour! Of course, this was the second time he had driven me to the airport, getting me there safely and ON TIME, both times!

One of the most beautiful ports of call during our Mediterranean cruise was Salerno. What was striking about Salerno was the clean, crisp beauty of the coast, coupled with stunning ancient architectural history. The combination of the two were simply captivating!
 
 
Each chance I got, I snapped shots of the sunrises and sunsets in the ports that we visited and I thought this one of Salerno, Italy was a gorgeous way to end our visit to this beautiful city.

Most of you who know me, know that most of my posting is done at night - I'm a true night owl - I work all day - and most of the evening - and visit ActiveRain late at night!  6AM is REM sleep time for me!  So, when I heard that we would be passing through the locks at the Panama Canal at 5:30AM while on vacation last week, I was not about to miss that!  So, I had to hit the sack at most people's 'normal' bedtime the night before.
