family: Uncertain Times... - 10/14/08 06:21 AM
Did you notice that stock market jump yesterday?  Whoa! It jumped up over 900 points.  I believe that is a record!
I don't know where it's going from here.  I don't think anybody does. (I think it's down a little bit at the moment.)
But, I'm trying to focus on the important things in life - My family, my friends, and my faith in God.  Knowing that God has everything under control is very comforting and strengthening.

  Mark & his family.
My brother is 2 1/2 years older than my twin sister and I.  He is a small business owner and has 10 children.  His wife Suzy homeschools them through highschool.
I admire my brother.  He is a good man.  Even though he picked on us when we were little, made me hate the color yellow (It's a long story.), "gave" us the same fish in his aquarium in his room 2 times so that we wouldn't tell on him (We had soft … (6 comments)

family: Day Trip! - 05/04/08 02:30 PM
Our family went to visit one of our sons in college today.  His name is Stephen.  He goes to a Christian college in Greenville, MO.  It's only about  an hour and a half from our house.  It is far enough away for our son to be on his own, yet close enough for visits every so often.  :)
Stephen was happy to see us.  (We hadn't seen him for a couple of months.)  It was a beautiful day!  There happened to be a barbecue for the college students in the courtyard.  After eating, the students played frisbee with each other.  They included Stephen's brother … (4 comments)
