I was at the ranch where I board my horse. My sister & I were just finishing up a beautiful day of riding, training our horses, and just enjoying each other's company. It was time to leave. We said our goodbyes and got into the car. The parking area was full. There were trucks everywhere, parked at different angles. Suddenly, other people start getting into their trucks and pulling out. ranch: Serious injury averted...

I had kind of a scare today. My daughter and I went to the ranch to ride our horses. While she had her horse (Kayley) tied to the hitching post, Kayley spooked. She actually broke the hitching post and pulled it out of the ground which, of course, spooked her more. The hitching post is right outside the barn door, so Kayley ran into the barn, pulling this huge hitching post behind her. Of course, the more she ran, the more spooked she got.
