realtor you can trust: Out Like a Lamb??? - O'Fallon, Missouri - 03/30/09 01:48 PM
You've heard of "March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb" or "March coming in like a lamb and going out like a lion", right?  Well, I think it's a matter of opinion.
Why?
Well, in O'Fallon, Missouri, I'd say that March came in like a lion because it was pretty chilly - not cold, just chilly and nice. However, my husband said that it came in like a lamb because it wasn't cold enough to be a lion.
Tomorrow, it's supposed to be 55 degrees with thunderstorms. My husband says that that's a lion, but I say that it's … (4 comments)

Oops!  Sorry.  Wrong time of year...
But, if you woke up to snow on the ground (like we did in Wentzville, Missouri), you'd be confused as to what time year it was, too.

The good thing is, this afternoon, all traces of the snow was gone...

realtor you can trust: Does O'Fallon, Missouri Have a "City Tree"? - 03/25/09 01:49 PM
I don't know, but I think they should.  Everywhere I looked in O'Fallon, Missouri today, I saw a beautiful blooming Bradford Pear tree.

I think they are popular because they grow quickly and they have these beautiful white blossoms.  My picture doesn't do it justice, but I think you get the idea.  :)

realtor you can trust: A Deluge! - O'Fallon, Missouri - 03/24/09 09:21 AM
Grab the umbrella, and hold onto your hat!  The wind is giving me a bad hair day, and the rain is falling in buckets in O'Fallon, Missouri...
I can't complain, though, because we really do need the rain.  I hear that we're supposed to get between 2 and 3 inches - That should be great for our lawns and landscaping!
Yea, for the rain!   :)

realtor you can trust: It's Time to Say "Good-Bye" - The Final Chapter - 03/22/09 02:22 PM
I've been telling you all the story of selling my beloved horse Blade.  Well, this is the final chapter...
Yesterday, the lady I told you about last week (who had to talk to her husband about Blade) came by to pick up Blade in a nice trailer.
She had a straight-load trailer (Blade is used to a slant-load.), and her trailer is a step-up (Blade is used to a ramp.).
I had told her how well he loaded and trailered, but when I saw how different her trailer was from mine, I was just a little concerned...
Anyway, I stepped up … (8 comments)

I am so excited that spring is finally here!  Spring and fall are so beautiful in Missouri that I'm not sure which one I like the best.
It looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend - 50's and 60's - so, I think I'm going to spend as much time outside as possible...
What about you???   :)

realtor you can trust: I Missed Him! - 03/19/09 01:41 PM
Do you remember the story I told you a few months back about the squirrel that I accidentally hit?  I felt so bad about it, but it really wasn't my fault...Really!  He ran right into me!
Anyway, today it almost happened again - This cute little squirrel ran right in front of me and stopped.  I didn't slam on my brakes, but I hit them pretty hard.
I was just waiting for the "ka-thump".  Thankfully, I didn't hear it.  Somehow, he moved away just in time.
I Missed Him!   Yea!  :)
Those silly squirrels are going to give me heart failure...  :(

realtor you can trust: It's Time To Say "Good-Bye" - Part 2 - 03/18/09 09:41 AM
I told you all about my horse Blade and the fact that I have to sell him, right?  Well, I thought I'd give you an update...
I've had some interest in him, and yesterday, a nice young lady came by the ranch to look at him.  She seemed to like him, and I think that they might be a good fit for each other.  She knows a lot about horses and rides more "English" than I do, but Blade was trying to figure her out and do as she asked.
She is supposed to talk to her husband and get back … (10 comments)
