The Katy Trail is a 225-mile bike trail that follows the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) Railroad. If you're planning on visiting the area today, bring a tall glass of iced tea with you. I found out that today is supposed to be the hottest day of the year, so far for St. Louis and St. Charles Counties. How hot is that? Well, they are saying that we may reach 98 degrees, but the heat index could be 105 degrees! Yikes! I had a fun day outside planned, riding my horse...I don't think so. I heard that some Starbucks stores are closing down! To all of us coffee lovers, this is not good news. I tried to track down the most updated list of the stores closing in St. Charles county, MO. This is what I have found:
The stores at: 1. Clayton & Baxter, Chesterfield MO 2. SR K & Weldon Springs in O'Fallon, MO 3. Elm & SH 370 in St. Charles, MO I will keep checking for updates. Also, the stores at Telegraph/Erb in St. Louis, MO and Howdershell & Dunn in Hazelwood, MO are said to be closing as well. … (7 comments)
