I had an Open House today in St. Charles, Missouri. There was a little bit of snow on the ground, and the temperature was a little bit chilly. However, I had one couple walk in about 10 minutes after the Open House started. Then, about 30 minutes after they left, a family walked in...before I finished showing them the 1st floor, another couple walked in. Wow! It's hard to believe, but this is my 400th Post! When I first started on Active Rain, I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into...but I'm really glad that I took that first shaky step into the unknown. This evening, my husband and I are enjoying our cozy family room with a blazing fire in the fireplace and 3 of our children (17, 20, and 21). We're eating popcorn and watching the movie "Wall-E" together. Last night we played games together...... It is so nice to have my son home from college and to be able to spend some time together. I heard that the lines were really looooong and that some people were standing in line for over an hour. I had a very busy morning, so I couldn't get to the polls until after 2 p.m. - I was a liitle concerned, thinking that I would have a long wait ahead of me (and I still had a lot of other things to do this afternoon).
