warren county mo realtor: Did You See The Beautiful Ranbow? - Wright City, Missouri - 02/09/09 11:28 AM
I was at the ranch in Wright City, Missouri this evening.  It rained pretty hard for awhile.  Afterward, we saw a beautiful rainbow!
This is not the exact rainbow that we saw, but it was similar:

Coming home from a listing appointment this afternoon, I  saw a little animal run across the road in Wentzville, Missouri!  I grabbed my camera and took this picture:
 He was running so fast that you can barely see him in the picture.  I tried to zoom in and crop the picture,  but it didn't work.
Do you see the evergreen tree in the middle of the photo?  Look at the base of the tree, right in the middle...
Can you see it?  I didn't think so...   So, this is what he looked like:

warren county mo realtor: Just When I'm Trusting in My GPS... - 01/22/09 02:01 PM
I recently posted about how I navigate to places that I've never been.  I said that I used my "trusty dusty GPS", Mapquest, etc...
Anyway, I stressed the importance of having many different tools at my disposal so that I wouldn't get lost.
Well, my GPS has been doing so well, lately, that I decided to depend upon it today...Oops!  Bad decision!  It took me right past the silly house for about a mile, saying: "Arriving at destination on right".
Not this time...No house, nothing.  All right.  It's time to start listening to my own advice...  Be prepared!   :)

warren county mo realtor: What to do When You Don't Know Where You're Going... - 01/16/09 04:00 AM
I'm talking about going to a home or business that you've never been to before.  Now, this obviously applies to realtors, but I'm sure everybody has gone somewhere that they didn't feel confident about finding.
I use 3 things:
1. My trusty dusty (most of the time) GPS
2. The sometimes reliable Mapquest printout
3. Directions that I (or somebody else) has written down.
Why all 3?  Well, my GPS is reliable "most of the time" but not always...and for those times that it's wrong, I must have a backup.  Mapquest is sometimes right, but not always.  Another written down source is good, but … (19 comments)
