Go Home Young Man- And Populate! Japan is experiencing, as we are, a troubled economy. But, they have another problem that we do not. The population in Japan is dropping at an alarming rate. In fact, the population of 128 million may well drop to 100 million by the year 2050. Why? In part, due to a decline in the birth rate, (on the average there are 1.34 children per family), and a high incidence in flu-related deaths.  Nearly 22% of Japan's population is 65 years old, or older.

Drought, the Pine Beetle, Wildfires, and Reduced Snow Pack
Researchers have released the findings of a 50 year old study that claims trees throughout Western North America, from Canada down, are dying at a rate of two times the rate of 30 years ago. The reason? A ONE DEGREE rise of the average temerature in the West. ONE DEGREE!                                            "America's Song"
Written by David Foster and Will.I.Am, (don't ask me, it's his name!), "America's Song" is absolutley beautiful, and wonderfully performed by Faith Hill, Bono, Seal, and Mary J. Blige. I know this, because after my Mom called to tell me about it, I forgot to download it, and when I went back, it was gone. Some three million people downloaded the song yesterday!
The music video was shown on the … (8 comments)
