It's exciting when something we post on Facebook goes viral and that's what makes this lastest Facebook scam so tempting to click.  The email looks like it comes from Facebook and who wouldn't want to see info about ourselves on someone else's page? 
 
Hover your mouse over any of the links in the email and you'll see that if you click, you'll be taken to a phishing site and not to Facebook.

TIP:  Rather than clicking on links in an email, log directly into your Facebook account.  This way you can avoid any phishing attemps coming from outside Facebook.

phishing: New Rental Scam on Craigs List - 05/14/09 01:20 AM
We’ve all received emails saying that they come from someone in a foreign country with a huge chunk of money and all they need is our help to transfer it to the US and we’ll get a percentage just for helping out. The good news is it seems like everyone has finally learned that this is a phishing scheme. Unfortunately the bad guys have figured out another spin. . . they take photos off of the Internet of a house for sale and post it on Craig’s List with the same phony line that they are out of the country but … (10 comments)
