2018: Top 10 Features Clarksville New Home Buyers Requested in 2018 - 10/16/18 05:38 PM
Top Features Clarksville TN Home Buyers Request

Home Buyers are influenced by the Internet, Pinterest and what they see on HGTV. They like the newest trends and Chip and Joanna Gaines have made a big impact on what Clarksville new home buyers want to see in their new homes.

All of this has contributed to a change in finishes and what buyers are willing to  settle for. I am seeing less and less of new home buyers willing to do the work themselves after closing and wanting turnkey construction featuring the trendy stuff. They know they have the buying power and want the most they can get … (5 comments)

2018: 2018 First Quarter Clarksville TN Real Estate Market - 06/07/18 07:23 PM
Clarksville TN's Real Estate Market 1st Quarter Results
Sales continued to be fast and furiously robust in 2017 for Montgomery and Stewart Counties in Tennessee. Inventory jumped by about 15% over the 4th quarter in 2017 but pending sales doubled over the last quarter of the year. If we look back a full year to the beginning of 2017, inventory to date has dropped by 60%. This is a result of low interest rates and strong buyer interest.

Average time on the market was between 51 days which is much the same as in 2017.  Active home listing prices increased in 2017 by 11% over 2016. The overall sale … (6 comments)

2018: A Good Attitude for 2018 - 12/30/17 08:03 PM
Attitude and the New Year

I believe we have control over our attitudes. Do you believe your attitude can determine what kind of year you will have in 2018? I say that it can. If you think it will be bad, you can will it to be so. If you think it will be good then doors will open for you. Whichever way you believe, it is your reality.

Attitude plays into everything we do. I know I like being around and working with people with good attitudes. Family and friends like being around us when we have a good attitude and know when we are not in a good mood. I … (18 comments)

2018: Will 2018 Be a Gangbuster Year in Real Estate? - 12/12/17 02:46 PM
Will 2018 Be a Gangbuster Year for Real Estate?

There is much uncertainty as to the direction real estate sales will take in 2018. We escaped a bullet with the recent tax cut by retaining a good amount of the deductions brought by home ownership. Interest rates are still holding and buyers are still showing lots of interest in buying homes. This year exceeded many of our expectations and was a record-setting year for many areas. Clarksville TN fared very well with sales. So will 2018 be a Gangbuster year in 2018?  The signs are pointing to real estate continuing to be strong though maybe not as strong as in … (10 comments)

2018: 7 Steps on the Path to a Great 2018 - 11/06/17 06:45 PM
7 Key Steps to Greatness
With just a few weeks until we cross into 2018, it's time right now to lay the plan so you will start the year on your path to success. A successful career doesn't happen on its own.  It takes planning and following that plan to reach your goal.  You alone are responsible for your future and how you travel your path.
It's almost impossible to reach a goal without having a clear and concise plan of action. Putting it in writing makes it real and easier to follow. Internalize it, visualize it.
Systems are important and in this day and time, if … (28 comments)

We Are on the Countdown to 2018
Today we are 63 days away from January 1st. That is just 9 weeks folks. To make it even scarier we are 23 days from Thanksgiving and 56 days to Christmas Day.
Hold on to your hat and put your pedal to the metal. Are your 2017 goals met or will you be down to the wire? Have you started planning for 2018?
The truth is it will feel like we are blinking a few times and it will be here and 2017 will be in the rearview mirror. Do all you can to make 2017 the year … (12 comments)

2018: Throwback Thursdays - In the Blink of the Eye - 10/12/17 08:07 PM
Throwback Thursdays - Time Passes So Quickly
I looked at the calendar and realized we are only 73 days to Christmas and 80 days until 2018. It is time to look forward and lay plans for our businesses into the new year. We learn from the past and apply that to our future endeavors.
Preparation is vital to stay abreast of changing trends in our businesses. What are you planning to do different or keep just the same?
Looking back at Christmases past, I see things I would like to have done different but cannot dwell on that. What I can think about is the … (14 comments)
