Historic Downtown Clarksville is celebrating their Annual Downtown Open House today. Many businesses will be participating with special events, refreshments and door prizes in preparation for the holiday season. What a great time to get some special discounts and get into the holiday spirit while helping small businesses on Shop Smal Business Saturday. This is a most unique shopping area and fun place to spend the day or evening.
Downtown Clarksville is a great destination on any day and this day will be extra special. The shops are varied and restaurants will offer special treats.
Clarksville's Downtown Market has had an abundance of produce with all the rain we have had lately. This was one of the best years for corn and it has been plump and sweet. As the season progresses local growers with their small home gardens are picking and using their own veggies and traffic at the market is less.

It's that time again for vendors to start signing up to be a part of Clarksville Downtown Market 2016 season. The market is for homemade and homegrown products and produce and a chance to grow your businesses and share your bounty. The Clarksville Downtown Market opens on Saturday mornings from May to October on Public Square in downtown Clarksville. The market has won several awards for being the best farmers market in the south.

Clarksville's Downtown Market is going strong and the crowds are bigger than ever. There are plenty of fruits and vegetables coming in plus there are crafts of all types including jewelry. It is a good place to find that special gift.
This week Saturday, June 13th from 8am to 1pm the market is going to the dogs. Dog owners are asked to bring pets for Fun With Fido Day at the market. February 6 is the First Thursday Art Walk in Clarksville TN. Though temperatures will be cold, spirits will be warm as patrons come out to the free, self-guided tour produced by the Downtown Clarksville Association.
The time of the event is 5-8pm with over 10 local businesses participating in this monthly event. It is spread over several blocks of Historic Downtown Clarksville from Franklin Street, Public Square to Strawberry Alley. And of course music and food are part of the fun.
