Plan to join all the other folks in the late afternoon on July 3rd at Liberty Park folks to hear great music and see a fantastic fireworks show take place on the banks of the Cumberland River. This is sponsored by the City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department and other local sponsors.

The weather has been clear and the skies so blue. That made perfect conditions for a beautiful fireworks show. The background music was patriotic and there were heavy crowds. The 4th of July holiday is just a few days away and the fireworks tents can be seen all over town. Clarksville TN has a law that you can't set off fireworks in the city limits. Of course there is an exception to the rule and those periods are before, during and after the Independence Day and New Years Day celebrations.

Independence Day Celebration in Clarksville A Big Success. Thousands of people gathered down by the river on July 3 at 6PM to enjoy music, food, fellowship and a fantastic Fireworks Show. The weather was in total cooperation with temperatures dipping slightly to allow pleasant breezes to blow.
Crowds spread blankets and set up chairs over several acres in McGregor Park and on the river banks of the Cumberland. Many of our soldiers from Ft. Campbell and their families participated in the festivities.
