Seller's Market or Buyer's Market Varies by Price Range Inventory of single family homes in El Dorado Hills has jumped 145% since January 2013 but looking at the overall picture we are still in a Seller's market with 3.9 months of inventory. If only things were that simple. As you will see by the following charts, whether it's a seller's market where sellers have the advantage or a buyer's market where buyers tend to have the advantage, varies depending on the price range. When do we get the keys to our home? There is a lot to the escrow process here in our area and I often get the question, "When do we get the keys to our home?" Unlike other states where you basically exchange the money for the keys, a buyer here in Northern California doesn't get the keys till the new deed is recorded and the close of escrow is official. Maple trees are a big part of the beautiful Fall Color in El Dorado Hills. We have a variety of Maples on my street, all turning colors and losing their leaves at different times. My neighbors up the street have Maple trees that always have a jump start on ours. Theirs will be in full color before mine even begin to turn. I guess that's what extends our beautiful fall season!

These big rock walls with native boulders are a great alternative for retaining walls here in our area. This is in La Borgata across the street from our Lyon Real Estate - El Dorado Hills office. We have some at our own home that Parson Brothers put in and did a great job, but I know Doug Veerkamp also does them and maybe even other companies now.

El Dorado Hills Neighborhood -Highland View - Once covered with rolling grassland now sits the wonderful neighborhood of Highland View. This semi-custom neighborhood saw it's first homes built in 1999 and it's last in late 2004. There are a total of 246 home sites here on large (minimum .5 acre) lots.
