olympics: If Home Staging were an Olympic Sport . . .

If Home Staging were an Olympic Sport, it certainly would include elements of speed, precision and artistic ability! As I've been enjoying snippets of the games -- and have fond memories of when the Winter Olympics were in Calgary, Alberta in 1988 -- it has motivated me to look at the tasks in a Home Staging project from a slightly different perspective (read, a little "tongue in cheek"). Perhaps the Olympic Home Staging event would go something like this: Short Program Stage a bathroom in a vacant house, cannot repaint. olympics: Be encouraged by the humble Inukshuk

The Olympic Winter games are just around the corner, hosted in the beautiful Canadian city of Vancouver, British Columbia. The official logo . . .
reminded me of some photos I shot on a family vacation in Newfoundland, 2008.
We stayed in a little cottage in Conception Bay, and there were rocks everywhere. It inspired us to have an Inukshuk building event (the rock figures are called Inukshuks). We made large ones and really small ones, then had fun photographing them at different angles and in different lighting conditions. The two above were only a few inches tall.
I like creating discussion among other professionals in the real estate industry on various staging, photography and off-beat topics. I value the insight of others and the synergy we all benefit from when we collaborate--iron sharpens iron!
I also have a love for fitness, personal growth and my family.
