It's getting toward that spooky time of year, and right outside of Wilmington, Delaware I found the horrifying imagination of Edgar Allen Poe spotlighted in an exhibit in an old mill in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania on the banks of the Brandywine River (where General  Howe defeated George Washington's army at the Battle of the Brandywine in 1777).
    
The Brandywine River Museum (housed in an old mill with a contemporary addition)  is currently featuring mostly illustrations and some paintings done of the grave visage of Edgar Allen Poe or illustrations done for his books.  Some of his text is quoted, … (0 comments)

It's Spring at the Ruston House and Mill, a historic 1790 property for sale in rural West Grove, Pennsylvania. This house and mill are situated on a 4 acre lot, bordering on the south of the mill the Big Elk Creek.
