real estate advertising in delaware: I Don't Need No Stinking Broker Info in a Craigslist Post... Ohhh My! - 02/24/13 04:05 AM
We've all seen it, maybe we've all done it before.  We post a quickie in Craigslist announcing some new listing or provide a link to a home search, and we neglect to provide the brokerage info in that same post.  Bad little puppy! shame, shame!  What does the Code of Ethics say about this?
Standard of Practice 12-5 REALTORS® shall not advertise nor permit any person employed by or affiliated with them to advertise real estate services or listed property in any medium (e.g., electronically, print, radio, television, etc.) without disclosing the name of that REALTOR®'s firm in a reasonable and readily … (1 comments)

real estate advertising in delaware: Farmers Loan Limits Increase in Delaware - 10/24/09 07:44 AM
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Guaranteed Loan Program has increased its loan limit to $1,112,000, effective Oct. 1, 2009. Each year, the National Agricultural Statistics Service adjusts the limits based on the Prices Paid to Farmers Index.  The loan program allows farm credit lenders to extend credit to qualified applicants who might not otherwise meet lending criteria.
The Farm Service Agency (FSA) offers a Direct Loan Program as an alternative for those unable to obtain financing from a commercial lending source. Direct farm loans are government-funded and made by FSA.  Farmers interested in applying for a direct loan should contact their local FSA office.

real estate advertising in delaware: Home Selling in Today's Delaware Market - 10/22/09 10:34 AM
Are you thinking about selling your home, but you're afraid you won't get out of it what you feel it's worth? Here are some hard facts you need to reconcile in your mind. Today's real estate market is not what it was last year, the year before, or the year before that. Today's market is a buyer's market and many home owners feel they are taking it on the chin when it comes time to sell their pride and joy. A home that commanded a hefty price 3 or 4 years ago, will not garner the same market price today. Unfortunately, you … (0 comments)

We are now ranked number 9, up from number 31 last year.  The ranking program, run by the League of American Bicyclists, ranks states according to their accomodations to cyclists. "It is good to see that more Delawareans are getting out of their cars and onto their bikes," said Gov. Jack Markell.

real estate advertising in delaware: Lewes DE Plantation Road Residents Say No, No, No! - 10/19/09 12:49 PM
For those familiar with Plantation Road in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach Delaware, the two lane residential area that runs behind the business complexes on the Route 1 corridor needs to remain residential. A planned 22,500 square foot medical complex is not a welcome addition to the upscale neighborhood. Plantation Road is a well used road for locals, keeping residential traffic away from Coastal Highway. The proposed complex would impede the traffic flow of the 11 subdivisions found in the immediate area. Setting a conditional use precedence in the area would open the door for further commercial zoning and development and would run contrary to … (0 comments)
