Now thousands of people call Pueblo West home. Built up and around the Fryingpan – Arkansas project, today called Lake Pueblo or Pueblo Reservoir. The area has several elementary schools, middle school and a high school as well as shopping and emergency services.

The supply and demand for houses right now is a bit lop sided. There are a whole bunch of houses sitting for sale and little demand for them. If there is a demand for any style of home it is for an affordable home. Practical, simple, well priced homes are in demand right now. Gone are demands for the Mc Mansions, Simi Castles and over built ranches. But these places still exist. There are some real beauties out there if you are looking for the "out of the ordinary" house.

So I did a search, I came up with some properties, some in town, some out of town, some on city lots some on small acreage. None of these are (currently) bank owned.

There is no such thing as an average day for a Realtor, or at least not for this one. I've had busy days, boring days, days with lots of phone calls, days I want to quit and days I love my job. On a whim I decided to photograph and document my day. This only proves that I was busy this day, but no days are alike!

pueblo colorado: A different perspective on Pueblo

About the second week of December, my broker Donna Phillips asked me if I wanted to go up in a plane when she updated her license. And being of sound mind and body I said "YES" I've been in commercial planes before but never a private plane. Donna took us over, around and about Pueblo and parts of Fremont Counties. It was a unique experience to circle my own house from so high up.
I wish I could give clients an experience like this, what a different perspective!

Gaia Institute's Happy Worm Herders City-Wide Composting & Vermicomposting program will be hosting a series of free organic waste disposal days for the residents of Pueblo City and County!

Sellers and agents alike would do well to remember this quote. If you are selling a property it would be best to stand back and give an objective look at the property. If you can't be objective ask a friend or relative - they are usually honest with you aren't they?

To paraphase Brian Brady, Americas #1 mortgage broker , watching the economy turn is like watching a battle ship turn. It's hard to see and moves slowly. But I've been noticing that slow moving battle ship in a slow tide moving in Pueblo.
I've had more buyers this summer than I've had in the last 5 years. The local convenience store next to Lake Pueblo reports steady traffic in front of their store. Better than last summer. A past client called me and wanted to put in an offer on a house across the street from him. The past client had seen the house a year or so ago but not recently. He instructed me to write up an offer. When I went to go get signatures I stopped to see the property myself. This is when the problems started.
