real estate colorado: Optimism in 2011 Happy New Year
- 01/07/11 11:28 AM
Optimism in 2011 It's not just me, I'm finding people all over with an optimistic attitude toward 2011. I can't explain it, but I can't help notice it either. Over the holidays people seemed, to me, to be happier than I've seen in some time. Maybe we are all tired to complaining about the economy and the tough times. The first week of the new year I've received phone calls about listing real estate property, buying property, loans in process and more. My sisters house in Stillwater Oklahoma that has been sitting for sale for sometime is getting shown even in (7 comments)

real estate colorado: Real Estate Buyer Myths
- 10/29/10 04:37 PM
Home buyers shouldn’t believe all the myths around these days. They should be cautious and very educated but don’t believe everything you hear. Myth 1 : The longer a property is on the market the more you can negotiate down the price. Wrong, unless the seller tells you they are in a desperate situation they may not be willing to negotiate at all. They may not need to sell. Maybe they are just fishing to see who will bite. Myth 2: Sellers are desprite. Wrong....

real estate colorado: Real Estate Seller Myths
- 10/29/10 04:33 PM
Sellers need to educate themselves on all the facts of selling in a difficult market. Arm yourself with a Great Realtor and some facts. Know what the market is doing in your area, how is your property most like or different than the neighbors and do those differences make that big a difference. Myth 1: Now is a bad time to sell. Wrong, now maybe the best time to sell. The buyers who are out looking are serious and they have low interest loans at hand. They can buy more houses now than they can when interest rates go up again. (0 comments)

"I will refer you as much as I can! I would love to know who I could give your at-a-girl too. Help me out with a name and email. I want to sing your praises." With a recommendation like this one how can I go wrong? Ruth lives in Canada but owns property near Boone Colorado. She found me on Active Rain. We (I) sometimes forget how far this internet thing can go. But ain't it great! Although I did next to nothing for her she's still happy to pass my name along. How great is that! Thanks Ruth, I appreciate (2 comments)
real estate colorado: Hello Texas!

Lately I've been putting much of my time and energy into my real estate blog site www.realestatecoloradostyle.com. Despite all that I've learned it's still very much a trial and error project. It's as if I have never blogged before and am learning all over again. But despite all the long hours, the mentoring and tutoring from others, I do feel as if I'm starting to succeed, even if that blogging success is limited. One of the things I'm learning is where my hits are coming from. I check my analytics at least once a day and this little tool tells me (11 comments)
real estate colorado: Realtors have interesting jobs
- 08/17/09 03:26 PM
Most of this week I've caught myself complaining about being busy. And I know better than to complain, because we all know it solves nothing. But as busy as I've been I'm extremely grateful to be working in profession that I do. I get to do some great things. And in the last few days I have done some interesting if not great things. (Thurs - Monday) I attended 2 separate funerals for prominent citizens of my community, because I knew them and their spouses. I drove to Breckenridge Colorado to see family, and it gave me some quiet time to sort (3 comments)
