Open House Preparation ... it's More than Signs and Flyers! As the third installment of my open house series, I want to discuss how youprepare for your open house, and then how to actually host a highly successful open house. In order to have a highly successful open house you must prepare, prepare, prepare. Simply showing up at an open house with a couple of directional signs and some flyers is not enough! If you’re like many agents who tell me “Open houses don’t work”, I’m willing to bet that signs and flyers are your only open house tools. That simply is not enough! Let’s (6 comments)

- 05/17/11 10:12 AM

WHY ASK DENISE? BECAUSE YOU NEED SOUND, HONEST ADVICE, NOW MORE THAN EVER! While I love everything about my job, there are some things that reallymake my day – like receiving an ‘Ask Denise’ email. Every question has a different spin to it, because no two agents think about their issues and challenges in the same way. And I love that. This week’s Zebra Report is based on five recent ‘Ask Denise’ questions. Thank you for continuing to ask … and thank you for making my day. Question 1: Denise, should I spend more time at the office or at my home office? I (2 comments)

- 12/03/10 05:00 AM
<!-- .style1 {font-weight: bold} --> HOLIDAY CARDS? AGAIN? TRY THIS INSTEAD... It’s that time of year again. Lights are popping up on houses. Trees are soon to be decorated. They feel like they’re creating a warm connection with their clients by doing so. While there’s nothing wrong with a warm connection, (5 comments)

- 11/29/10 06:44 AM
DON'T FALL INTO "HOLIDAY MODE" — THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES GALORE AT THIS TIME OF YEAR! Every year in mid-November I hear the same complaint from agents. While it’s a good idea to plan next year, it is a very BAD idea to slow your business down to a crawl just because we’ve entered the holiday season. If you’ve been enticed to put in less effort just because (4 comments)
